How ShootModel works, from search to payout
ShootModel works like a booking site for shoot talent. A booker searches by date, city, hours and budget, sees who is free and books in one step. Payment is held until the shoot is done. The contract, model release and usage license come with the booking. Talent is paid 48 hours after the shoot.
For bookers

Describe the shoot
Pick the talent type, the city or remote, the date, the hours and your budget. Add an age range if it matters. You can add a moodboard for AI casting too.

See who is free
Results show only talent who are free on your date. Each row has the rate for your hours, the city and an availability badge. Ratings show when the talent has completed bookings.

Shortlist or cast with AI
Save people to a shortlist to compare later. Or run AI casting on your moodboard and get a ranked list with reasons.

Book now or request
Book now confirms at once when the talent has instant booking on. Request to book sends your request, and the talent has 24 hours to accept.

Choose usage and pay
Pick media, territory, term and exclusivity. The buyout is added to the total. You pay the rate plus the buyout, with no booking fee.

Prepare and shoot
Chat inside the booking, share a call sheet and confirm the call time. Your booking agreement, model release and usage license are signed online and ready as PDFs.

Confirm and rate
After the shoot, confirm it went well. Both sides leave a rating. Payment goes to the talent 48 hours later.

Create your profile
Add photos, your rates per hour, half day and day, your categories and how far you travel.

Every talent is checked before the profile goes public. You must be 18 or older.

A Model or Model Pro plan publishes your profile in search and AI shortlists.

Mark the days you are free. Turn on instant booking if you want bookers to confirm without waiting for you.

Accept bookings
Requests show the date, hours, rate, usage and your payout. Accept or decline within 24 hours.

Shoot and get paid
After the shoot your payout goes to your bank 48 hours later. You keep 85% of the rate, plus the buyout.

Cancellations in short
- 01Talent cancels or does not show up, the booker gets the full booking charge back and help finding a replacement.
- 02Booker cancels 72 hours or more before call time, full booking charge back.
- 03Booker cancels between 72 and 24 hours before, 50% of the talent rate goes to the talent, the rest and the buyout come back.
- 04Booker cancels less than 24 hours before or does not show up, 100% of the talent rate goes to the talent, the buyout comes back.
- 05Outdoor shoots stopped by weather or permits, reschedule within 30 days if the talent agrees, or the rules above apply.
The full terms are part of the booking agreement for every booking.
Safe for both sides
- 01Talent ID and age are verified before a profile is public.
- 02Chat stays inside the booking. Phone numbers and emails are not shared before a booking.
- 03Ratings come only from completed bookings.
- 04Payment is secured before the shoot and released after it.
FAQ
01Do I need an account to search?
No. Anyone can search. The first rows of results are open, and the full list opens after you create an account.
02How fast does talent reply to a request?
Talent have 24 hours to accept or decline. If they do not reply, your hold is released and you can send the shoot to all matching talent.
03What is a shoot request?
It sends your date, city, hours, budget and brief to every talent who fits. You pick from the people who confirm.
04Who signs the model release?
Both sides sign online as part of the booking. The release, agreement and usage license are stored with the booking.
05When does talent get paid?
48 hours after the shoot is completed, unless the booker reports a problem in that time.
06Can I change the usage after booking?
Ask the talent in the booking chat. A wider usage needs a new buyout agreed by both sides.
