ShootModel privacy policy

The controller of your personal data is the administrator of the shootmodel.com service. For any privacy question or request, write to support@shootmodel.com.

• 01Account data, such as your email address, password (stored as a secure hash), name and company name if you add it
• 02Search and booking data, such as talent type, city, dates, hours, budget, briefs, shortlists, shoot requests and bookings
• 03Moodboards and reference photos you upload for AI casting
• 04Messages you send in booking chat
• 05Billing data, such as plan, invoices and the last digits and expiry of your card, which our payment provider shares with us
• 06Team data, such as the names and emails of people you invite to your seats

• 01Account and profile data, such as name or stage name, email, city, travel radius, categories, rates, availability and portfolio photos and videos
• 02Booking, chat, rating and document data, including signed booking agreements, model releases and usage licenses
• 03Payout data, such as the bank account details you add, handled by our payment provider

On a couple profile, we collect profile and verification data for both people.

Every talent goes through an ID and age check before their profile is public. The check is done by our identity verification provider, which handles the ID document and any selfie you submit under its own security rules. We do not store copies of your ID document.

We store only the result of the check, the date it was done and your verified age. If your date of birth is passed to us, it is stored encrypted, used only to confirm you are 18 or older, and never shown on your profile or to bookers.

When you use the site, our servers record basic technical data, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of the request. We use it to keep the service secure, stop abuse and fix errors.

We do not use your data for automated decisions that have legal or similar effects on you. AI casting only ranks talent as a suggestion, and the booker makes the choice.

We share data only with service providers who help us run ShootModel, under contracts that limit what they may do with it.

• 05An identity verification provider, for talent ID and age checks

When you book or are booked, the other side sees what they need for the shoot, such as your name, profile, the brief, the chat and the signed documents. Personal phone numbers and email addresses are not shared before a booking is made. Talent profiles are visible in search. Your verified age is shown as a badge only, never as a date of birth.

We may also share data when the law requires it, or to protect the safety of users.

ShootModel uses only cookies that the site needs to work, such as the session cookie that keeps you logged in, a security token for forms and your basic settings. We do not use advertising pixels or tracking cookies from ad networks. Because we only set essential cookies, we do not show a cookie banner. Any site statistics we keep are collected without cookies.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• 06Withdraw consent you gave, such as for product emails

If you live in the EU or the UK, these rights come from the GDPR. If you live in a US state with a privacy law, such as California, you have similar rights to know, delete, correct and opt out. We do not sell personal data and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.

To use a right, write to support@shootmodel.com from the email on your account. We answer within the time the law sets, usually within 30 days.

ShootModel serves users in many countries, and our providers may process data in the EU, the US and other countries. When data moves out of the EU or the UK, we rely on approved safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to keep it protected.

We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords, encryption of sensitive fields such as date of birth, access limits for staff and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and tell us at support@shootmodel.com if you think your account is at risk.

ShootModel is only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If we learn that such data was collected, we delete it.

We may update this policy when the service or the law changes. We post the new version here with a new date, and we tell you by email or in the app about important changes.
