Hire models for photoshoot days without the chase

To hire models for a photoshoot, start with your date, city and number of hours. ShootModel shows verified adult photoshoot models who are free that day, with the rate for those hours already added up. Book a model in a few clicks, and the model release and usage license come with the booking.

Before you book, write down five things

A good booking starts with a short plan. You do not need a full shot list yet, but these details make the search sharp and the shoot smooth.

  • 01The look. Age range, style, hair, build or any skill you need, like posing for apparel or holding products.
  • 02The date and call time. When the model should arrive, and how long you need them.
  • 03The place. Studio address, outdoor location, or a city where you will decide later.
  • 04The use. Where the photos will run: your site, social posts, paid ads, print or packaging.
  • 05The budget. What you can spend on the model for the day, before the buyout.

With those five answers, the search filters do most of the work.

03

Book a model in three moves

Filter by need, not by name

Choose Models, set the city, date, hours and budget. You only see people who are free on your date and fit your budget for those hours.

Compare portfolios side by side

Save favorites to a shortlist. Look at recent photos, rates for an hour, half day and day, and ratings from completed bookings when they exist.

Book now or send a request

If the model has instant booking on, the booking is set the moment you pay. If not, send a request. The model replies within 24 hours, and your card is charged only when they accept.

04

Usage rights decided before the shoot, not after

Many shoot problems start after the photos are delivered. A brand wants to run an image as a paid ad, and nobody agreed on that use. On ShootModel you pick the usage buyout at checkout: the media, the territory, the term and whether the use is exclusive. The model sees the same terms before accepting.

The booking then creates a model release and a usage license with those exact terms. Both sides sign online. The PDFs live with the booking, so your team can find them later.

05

What to send the model before shoot day

Once the booking is confirmed, chat opens inside it. Use it to share what makes the day go well.

  • 01Call time, address and who to ask for at the door
  • 02Wardrobe notes and what the model should bring
  • 03Hair and makeup plan, if there is one
  • 04A few reference images or your moodboard
  • 05Your shot list, so the model knows the pace

After the shoot, the payment is released to the model 48 hours later. If something went wrong, you can open a dispute inside that window.

Setting a fair budget for photoshoot models

Rates vary a lot from city to city and from one kind of shoot to another. Commercial day rates commonly run from a few hundred dollars for local web use to well over a thousand when national ads and exclusivity are part of the deal. The hours, the model's experience and the usage all move the price.

A simple way to start: set the budget filter to what you can spend, then widen it a little and compare. On ShootModel each card shows the total for your hours, so you see the real cost right away. The usage buyout is added at checkout, and that is where wide or long use adds the most.

FAQ

01

How much does it cost to hire a model for a photoshoot?

Each model sets their own rates for an hour, a half day and a full day. You see the total for your hours before you book, plus the buyout you choose.

02

Can I book models for a photoshoot outside my city?

Yes. Models set a travel radius, and many list more than one city. Search the city of your shoot to see who covers it.

03

What if I need more than one model for the same shoot?

Book each model on the same date, or send one shoot request to all matching models and collect their confirmations.

04

Who owns the photos after the shoot?

The usage license states what you may do with the images. You choose the media, territory, term and exclusivity at checkout.

05

What if the model cancels?

You get the full booking charge back, and we help you find a replacement. Teams on the Production plan and above get priority replacement help.

06

Is there a fee on top of the model's rate?

No booker service fee. You pay the listed rate plus the buyout. The platform fee is taken from the model's payout.

07

Can I book a model for just two hours?

Yes. Search with the exact hours you need. Models set an hourly rate, and the card shows the total for your time.
