ShootModel security and talent verification
ShootModel security starts with people. Every talent is an adult whose ID and age are checked before the profile goes public. Payments are held until the shoot is done. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to people who need it, and Enterprise adds SSO and an audit log.
ID and age verification
- 01Every talent checks a government ID and takes a selfie before the profile goes live.
- 02Only adults 18 and older can publish a profile.
- 03We store the result of the check and the verified age. The date of birth is never shown on a profile.
- 04A profile that fails the check stays hidden.
- 05Portfolio photos are reviewed, and suggestive content is not accepted.
Payments held until the shoot
- 01Card payments go through a certified payment provider. We never see or store full card numbers.
- 02Every card checkout asks for bank confirmation with 3D Secure.
- 03The booking charge is held until the shoot is completed.
- 04Talent payouts go to verified bank accounts 48 hours after the shoot.
What data we keep and who helps us
We keep only what the service needs to work: account details, profiles and photos, bookings, signed documents, messages inside bookings and payment records. Some work is done by trusted providers in these categories.

Each provider gets only the data needed for its task. We use only essential cookies, and there are no ad pixels on ShootModel.
Encryption and access control
- 01All traffic uses HTTPS with modern TLS.
- 02Data at rest is encrypted, including ID check results and signed documents.
- 03Staff access is limited to the people who need it for support or safety, and it is logged.
- 04Passwords are stored as strong one-way hashes.
- 05Backups are encrypted and tested.
- 06Chat inside a booking keeps phone numbers and emails private until a booking is confirmed.

Yes. Every profile belongs to an adult whose ID and age are checked before the profile goes public.
02Does ShootModel store my card details?
No. Cards are handled by our payment provider. We keep only a record of the payment.
03Who can see my personal contact details?
Nobody before a booking. Chat stays inside the booking, and contact details are not shared until it is confirmed.
04Can my company use SSO?
Yes. SSO with SAML, roles and an audit log come with the Enterprise plan.
05Where can I get the DPA?
Enterprise accounts download the MSA and DPA from account settings.
